Hello! My name is Laura, and I’m the owner of Lily J’s Hair Studio.
From a young age I always knew I wanted to be a hairstylist and have a salon of my very own – there’s nothing better than giving someone a confidence boost with a fresh new look!
My career started with an apprenticeship at the Hairdressing Training School, working at a busy salon alongside some amazing stylists. After gaining my qualifications, I went on to further my skills by completing numerous advanced colour courses, technical cutting courses, and through the Paul Mitchell 365 business courses. Throughout my training and career I have worked with KMS, Paul Mitchell, Redken and Aveda products.
After having my two gorgeous children, I made the decision to go mobile so I could spend as much quality time with them as possible – I didn’t want to miss any ‘firsts’! However, once they both started school, I decided that it was THAT time! I promptly enrolled in and completed Matrix colour and product courses and was lucky enough to find a business premises that I could make my own. Lily J’s Hair Studio (named after my children, of course) was founded in 2017 and I’ve never looked back!
Hi! My name is Tailor and I am a senior stylist at Lily J’s Hair Studio. I have been at Lily J’s for over 4 years now, and in that time I have built a lovely loyal clientele base.
My favourite thing to do in the salon is highlighting! I find the process very therapeutic.

Hello, I'm Becca and I'm a stylist at Lily J's. I have completed my Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma and am now working along side Laura to further my skills.
